If you love purple this shawl is for you!
This shawl started as plain ole wool. Leaving a bit of white, and dyed the remaining in various shades of purple and black I carded it into a gradient batt along with a bit of tencel for sparkle.
Then I spun several bobbins of yarn and chain plyed into a 3 ply yarn in order to keep the colors true and create the gradient. This yarn is a bit heavier being a light DK weight but still great for cool nights, cold offices, or a pretty accent anytime of year.
Now, to find a great pattern to showcase this beautiful yarn! May I Borrow This Please was just the ticket, so I casted on and knit this beautiful shawl. It's a long shawl so there's plenty to wrap in any number of ways!
Content: 80% superfine merino wool and 20% tencel, handspun yarn and hand knitted.
